From the very first moment I saw the video for this song, I was hooked. I think I watched it 5 or 6 times that first day. Then I bought the song and listened to it every day for weeks. It touched me deeply because it brought back memories from my baptism into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
I was 8 years old and I recall sitting in the chapel, next to my friend, Anitra. She was getting baptized that day as well. I don't remember a lot of the little details about what was said, but I do remember the incredible feeling of excitement that filled me.
There is definitely something about the cleansing waters of baptism. Something that fills your soul with peace, hope, and pure joy. It's a fresh start, a new beginning, a chance to begin again.

This is why I attend church every Sunday. This is why it comes first for me, above all of the other things that I could choose to do on a Sunday morning or afternoon.
I go to church so that I can partake of the sacrament.
I go to church so that I can worship my Savior, Jesus Christ. So that I can feel closer to Him and use the time during the sacrament to ask where I am lacking and what I can do better.
This is a commitment that I made not only at my baptism, but when I went to the temple. I made covenants with God and if I want God to keep His end of the bargain, I have to keep mine as well.
"If you expect to find perfect people here, you will be disappointed. But if you seek the pure doctrine of Christ, the word of God “which healeth the wounded soul,” and the sanctifying influence of the Holy Ghost, then here you will find them. In this age of waning faith—in this age when so many feel distanced from heaven’s embrace—here you will find a people who yearn to know and draw closer to their Savior by serving God and fellowmen, just like you. Come, join with us!"
-Dieter F. Uchtdorf (October 2013 General Conference)

If you have once stood on the solid bedrock of testimony but now find that your footing is not as steady as it used to be, Come- join us again.
If you already have a knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ, I say, Come- join us.
